Marcelo is an Aquaculture Engineer from Universidad Arturo Prat at Iquique, Chile. Currently working closely with the artisanal at Caleta Riquelme as a project leader on development programs supported by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, FAO, Artisanal Fisheries.
He is originally from Iquique where he grew up with the sea and surfing as an extra activity, that have help him to be close to the community, and understand the needs and challenges for fishing activity on small or big scales.
